Nursery Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery

Our Cattery

When you bring your cat in for a stay with us, we will take all his or her personal details. Please ensure you bring along the following

Sleepy Cat

All these details will be stored on our database, so you can enjoy your holiday in the knowledge that your pet is being well looked after.

On arrival at our reception we will need to see your vaccination cards.

We only accept cats with vaccination certificates that are up to date showing inoculation and booster dates.

Any vaccinations due must have been completed no less than 14 days prior to boarding.

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from infectious or contagious disease can be accepted.

Our Cattery has twelve double tiered cat pens, with ladders for access to the higher level; resting ledges scratch poles and toys. We have two large family pens which can accommodate more than 2 cats and two single cat pens for our senior guest who may find ladders too difficult to manage.

Comfort, Diet & Exercise

The cattery is fully heated during the winter months and is kept just nice and cool in the summer time... purr fect.

We supply all our guests with beds lined with soft fleece blankets, but if you are welcometo bring in any of your own more familiar items to help puss settle in. Litter trays are changed daily and cleaned throughout the day if needed. All bowls are sanitized daily and fresh water is always given.

We stock a wide range of high quality cat food and prefer to feed your cat on his/her normal diet; this helps to avoid the risk of tummy upsets. However, if your cat is on a special diet or one supplied by your Vet, we do ask that you bring this along with you.

Your cat will not be lonely during their stay with us as there is always a lot of activity throughout the day, our caring staff are on hand to give cuddles and attention your cat deserves.

Healthcare

Fleas/Worms

Although we realise that fleas & worms are a fairly common problem, we take a great care to ensure that our facility remains a safe haven from them. You can feel reassured your cat will not contract them during their stay.
When we accept a cat for boarding, we assume that it is free of fleas, or at least without the owner's knowledge of the cat having them.
If we find your cat to have fleas we will take the liberty of treating them with frontline or advantage, this cost will be added to your boarding bill.
