Our Kennels

When you bring your dog in for a stay with us, we will take all his or her personal details. Please ensure you bring along the following...

• Vaccination Card Details.
• Dietary Requirements.
• Your Vets' Details.
• Exercise Needs.
• Contact Details While Your Are Away.

All these details will be stored on our database, so you can enjoy your holiday in the knowledge that your pet is being well looked after.

On arrival each guest vaccination card will be checked along with your booking details to ensure we have all the correct contact details.

We will only accept dogs with vaccination certificates that are up to date showing inoculation and booster dates, these must be a minimum of 14 days prior to boarding.

We recommend but do not insist on kennel cough, if you choose to have the vaccination it must be given a minimum of 14 days before arrival date.

All guests must be fully vaccinated.

Before being shown to their accommodation, each guest will then be taken for a walk on our own private exercise field to help put them at ease . All our kennel blocks are fully heated throughout the winter months, and are lovely and cool throughout the summer time.

We supply high backed plastic beds and vet bedding; this is a thick fleece blanket which is warm and comfortable for your dog to sleep on. However please feel free to bring along their own blankets and toys as familiar items help them to settle in.

Diet

We cater for most dietary needs and our kitchen stocks fresh meat & fish, and a wide selection of high quality wet and dry foods. Any special veterinary food can still be give but we ask the owners to supply this. All food bowls are sanitized daily and fresh water is always freely available. One of our owners holds a food preparation hygiene certificate so food hygiene is no problem.

Health

If they will allow us, all dogs, cats and small animals are given a daily health check, ears eyes and bums etc, and cleaned as and when necessary. Any medication requirements will be continued during their stay with us. However there is an extra charge for this service so please ask a member of staff. We reserve the right to have a vet attend to your pet if we feel it is needed, the cost of this is payable by yourselves on collection.

Exercise

As long as your dog will allow us to walk them, he or she will be exercised twice daily on our own private field. There, they are able to meet and say hello to our other guests. Dogs are always kept on a lead and never allowed to get too close to each other; this eliminates any doggy disagreements and still keeps them socialised.
